Carlsen vs Nakamura / Fischer Random / Day 5 / Final

The first four days of slow rapids ended with a score of  4.5 to 3.5 in favor of Carlsen – however the double points for a win and a single point for a draw, with zero for a loss meant that the overall score of the first four days was 9 to 7 in favor of Carlsen.

The running tally of these games was:

The last series of eight fast rapids games was again dominated by Carlsen who won 5 to 3.

The running tally of these (today’s) games ran:

Carlsen

That tells ME that the combination of the two sections of the match is a Final Score of 14 for Carlsen and 10 for “Nakamura.  The “Official” live relay website gave the “Final Score as 13.5 to 9.5 – both players a half a point off.  I have made the “corrections” to the final score as reflected below and found corroboration on the Official Web Site Home (Front) page.  Sorry for any confusion – I was very confused trying to rectify the score differences.
