The final score of the match was 6-6 in 12 classical chess games.

The Title Match then moved in to tie break phase with 4 rapid games. If the score remained tied, 2 blitz games. If still tied, again 2 blitz games; this procedure may be repeated up to a total of 5 times. If the score remains level, then it comes down to the Armageddon game.

Only four rapid games were played the score 2.5-1.5  in favor of Ju Wenjun.

UP TO THE CHALLENGE :  In a must win Game 12 in Classical Play Aleksandra Goryachkina provided the full point and tied the Match.

In another ” must win”  in Game 4 (tie-break)..the best she could do was draw.. Worthy Opponent. (3 draws 1 loss)
